11-24-99 It's Christmas Time, and You Know What That Means...
That's right! Christmas Time means more school at a faster pace than before. It means that everyone progressively gets in a worse mood day by endless day and it means that conspiracies are about. Check out The Conspiracy page.
7-2-99  The Bandwidth is Back!
After spending entirely too much time in ISDN land, the domain is back and running on a seemingly limitless connection.  We currently have access to an OC3... :-)

Anyway, I won't be able to get to the domain for another few days since I have to work on a bid for Bausch & Lomb.  After I'm done with it, I'll setup some online forms to automate FTP account creation.  Depending on if I get any emails indicating interest, I may start offering webspace and/or email addresses in the Conspirators.net domain.  <scratches head>  Perhaps I'll setup @DMB.Conspirators.net ... If you'd be interested in either email addresses or [more likely] web space, email me and let me know.  (admin@conspirators.net)

7-2-99 Oh what a day...
Well, as most of you were kind enough to tell me (<grins>), the server died yesterday.  Actually, the problem wasn't our problem -- it seems that ourm ISP decided to assign our IP to two customers (which would explain some of the issues that we've been having).  To fix their error, they changed our IP on us without telling us.  So, after three phone calls to my ISP, two to GTE, and one to the BBB, it seems that we're functional again.  Needless to say, we're probably going to switch ISP's.   In the change-over, we'll probably upgrade the connection to a T1 again.
6-23-99 First half day
The shows have been online for half a day and haven't done badly (considering our current connection.)  The FTP server handled around 1,000 connections with no complaints.  Even though this connection seems to work, I'll continue to look for a new home for the domain.
6-23-99 Shows are online!
The live DMB shows are online on the anonymous FTP server.  Keep in mind that not all have been uploaded yet, so check back frequently.  Also, we are still on a slow connection, so transfer speeds will be less than ideal.  We are still working on getting back onto a T1.  (As of 4:00 PM PST, we had 37 shows to go)
6-19-99   Dave Matthews Update
I spoke with Avi earlier today.  He'll be uploading the content for his website (as opposed to his ftp site) as soon as he can.  He gave me the list of people who paid for FTP accounts.  I'll send out a mailing to the list later on tonight.  If you think you should be on the list and don't receive anything tonight, email Avi to clear it up.

As for the FTP content, there are far more shows than I thought.  I've allocated an additional 10 gigs for the mp3s to live on.  I'll begin allowing FTP access once I get clearance from Avi.

Questions?  admin@conspirators.net

6-18-99   "Bad Cynic!  No treat for you!"
As at least four of you have noticed, the site was experiencing some "issues" earlier today.  The Cynic, (our over-worked system admin) had apparently been beaten senseless by a stupid-stick and has finally regained conciousness.   Feel free to yell at him for the circular 404 reference by mailing him at:
stupid-stick@conspirators.net

6-18-99   Uploading...
I have started to upload the content for the FTP site.  As of 10:15 AM, I was on CD 7 of 33.  This is going to take some time.  Once I get clearance from Avi, I'll enable anonymous ftp access.  I'm also awaiting the list of accounts to be built -- I'll start building FTP accounts as soon as I can.  Questions? admin@conspirators.net.

6-17-99   CD's received!
I got the package of discs (all 20 of them -- almost 90 shows!) containing the content for the FTP server.  I'll upload them as soon as I can convince Mothership (the FTP server) to share and play fair with the other machines.   Assuming that all goes well, content should be going online some time tonight.

... thanks to Ms. Stockdale for correcting my spelling and once again showing me why I'm not an English major.

6-16-99   Content not online!
Please note that there is NO content posted on the site yet.  I'll start uploading tomorrow morning.  The personal sites of the Conspirators will be the first to go online.  The FTP site will be next, but I won't be able to get to that until the UPS shipment comes.  Sorry.

6-15-99   http://Supernash.Conspirators.net/
The Dave Matthews site will be online within a few days.  We are currently waiting for the men in brown (UPS) to deliver the site content.  I'll upload the shows once I receive the discs.  Check back frequently for the updated status.  Any questions can be directed to: questions@conspirators.net.

6-15-99   Conspirators.net is back online!
After a little more than a month of downtime, the domain is back online and serving from its new home in Southern California.  Bandwidth is temporarily limited to a dual ISDN, but will soon (within a month or so) return to a full T1 when I can arrange it.  Once the domain is fully operational, services will be hosted on two separate sites on all five dedicated machines.
