Nothing to Lose

Review:

Hilarious!

Nothing to Lose is one of the funniest movies I've seen in quite a while. Very rarely can you find a movie nowadays with an excellent plot twist that's not completely given away by the previews (The Lost World comes to mind).

In Nothing to Lose, Tim Robbins plays business man Nick Bean, a man with a beautiful house, wife, job, and car. Everything is going well for them until he finds that his wife is sleeping with his boss. He is so upset about this, that instead of confronting the problem, he just gets in his car and drives. When a two-bit robber (Martin Lawrence) tries to carjack him, Nick kidnaps the theif and takes him out to Arizona. Totally caught offguard by this reaction, Bean and the theif bond, and work to each other's benefits off of this newfound "friendship."

While I'm really not much a a Martin Lawrence fan, I found that he fit the part of a low-time robber perfectly. Tim Robbins was great too, I don't know how someone can survive with a tartantula crawling across his face.

The writing was great, very funny jokes, side plots, and just slapstick comedy.

Nothing to Lose was just funny. And that's all I can say about it :)
